Anniversary Photo Gallery Wall + Custom Framing Discount

Anniversary Photo Gallery Wall by Mandy Pellegrin
I was compensated by Framebridge for this post.

When we moved into this house about a year ago, I vowed I wouldn't be putting up any gallery walls. Our old place was rife with them, and I was over it. Well, today, I eat my words. Thanks to Pinterest, we've been taking a photo every year on our anniversary. An opportunity to try out Framebridge's online custom framing services coincided with our our 4th anniversary earlier this month, and so it seemed appropriate to finally put all these photos on display.

Read on to see our photo tradition, hear about my Framebridge experience, see more gallery wall pics, and nab a discount code for 15% off your own custom framing project!

Anniversary Photo Tradition

So, yeah, each year, we take a photo of ourselves holding the previous year's photo. A little lame, but whatever. The only way that I got Michael on board with this idea was if I agreed to put a Land O' Lakes butter tub in the first year's photo. So meta. Anyway, it's turned out to be a pretty fun tradition since each year's pic has captured a fun moment in our lives that we'll always cherish. The first year caught us visiting Tennessee. The second was in our first place together. The third in our place surrounded by moving boxes as we prepped to move back to Nashville, and this year, we were traveling through California and snapped a pic off the Avenue of the Giants amidst the gorgeous Redwoods.

Framebridge Options

I was excited for the opportunity to have this latest photo custom framed. Framebridge has some on-point options. It was hard, but I narrowed their 25 total available styles down to the medium wood-toned Sonoma, the to-die-for gold bamboo Mandalay, and the lacquered tiger wood Jambi. I wanted that bamboo one so hard, but the day the photo was taken, we were traveling from a stay in Sonoma. It was just far too ironic and our bedroom was in need of a little more wood tone, so I went with the Sonoma.

My experience was seriously A+. My favorite part is that you upload your photo to the site for both printing and framing. It is such a convenience to not have to worry about that middle step. (If you have artwork, you can mail it to them.) After placing my order, the frame was on my doorstep in about three days. THREE days! That's kind of insane.

So, now, for the gallery wall. This nook wall in our bedroom seemed like a great and interesting little place to create a gallery for us to enjoy memories -- our anniversary, wedding, and engagement photos. Apologies for the reflections in the glass, but my newly framed photo is the real star of my new gallery wall. I paired it up with some smaller frames, a handmade wall hanging, and even a few pieces of driftwood I picked up while we were in California.

And now for the really good stuff. Framebridge already has some pretty incredible (and completely transparent) prices. I mean, my monster of a frame was only $99. What's better is Framebridge is offering up 15% off your total purchase through October 31st by using code FRAME15.

Disclosure: I received compensation for this post. All opinions are my own.
