I know I'm really breaking ground with this one. But seriously, this project proves that a simple wooden drawing figure from the art store is yet another item that looks pretty darn good with a coat of gold spray paint. And bonus! This project got the Michael stamp of approval for its resemblance to C-3PO.
Start with a drawing figure like this oneand a can of gold spray paint. Alternatives include a puppy figureor a kitty figure(which I discovered in my search for the human figure and, yes, I totally reacted with a squeal). Tape off the little pole, and give the figure a couple of thin coats of paint and...
TA-DA!!!
