Guest Post: Arugula, Tomato, & Goat Cheese Pizza

I was over at Lynn + Lou yesterday sharing an easy DIY. Well, they're here today to share with us what looks like a tasty recipe. So let's show them some love, shall we?

Hello lovely Fabric Paper Glue readers! I am so excited to be guest posting with the wonderful Mandy today. Her blog has inspired me from the moment I stumbled upon it. Isn't she just oh so creative? I am Lou, one half of the blogging duo, Lynn + Lou. We are sisters who write all about what inspires us, from crafts to fashion to tasty recipes.

Today I will be sharing my recipe for Arugula, Tomato and Goat Cheese Pizza. The Mr. just loves pizza, thick crust, thin crust, marinara, white, cheesy, you name it, he loves it. So I decided to try my hand at a little bit of gourmet pizza cooking last week. This recipe pizza crust is both delicious and simple. And bonus, it hardly takes any time to make.

Read on for the full recipe and more mouthwatering pics.

Ingredients:
1 TBSP Active Dry Yeast
1 cup hot Water (120-130 degrees)
1 tsp Sugar
1 tsp Salt
5 T Olive Oil
2 1/2 c Flour
1 1/2 TBSP Italian Seasoning
1 1/2 TBSP Granulated Garlic

Toppings:
Pizza Sauce
Mozzarella Cheese
Herb Goat Cheese
Grape Tomatoes
Arugula
Walnuts

Preheat the oven to 450 degrees.

Directions:
1. In a mixer or large bowl, mix yeast, sugar and hot water together and let the mixture stand for 10-12 minutes.
2. Add Olive Oil, salt, Italian seasoning and granulated garlic. Mix together.
3. Add the flour and mix well.
4. Let the dough sit for 10 minutes in a covered bowl.

5. Roll out the dough into a pizza shape and put the dough on a pizza stone or oiled cookie sheet.
6. Top the dough with pizza sauce and Mozzarella cheese.

7. Top with sliced grape tomatoes, arugula, herb goat cheese and walnuts. (side note: with greens such as arugula, put them on the pizza after it is out of the oven, otherwise they will be wilted and not quite as tasty.)
8. Cook the pizza for 18-22 minutes, or until the crust is browned.
9. Slice and enjoy!

I am so glad I could share this new family favorite with all of you. I would love to know, what are your favorite toppings?

Be sure to check out more tasty recipes, crafts, fashion finds and daily inspiration over on Lynn + Lou. We look forward to hearing from you there. Cheers! Lou!
