Well, folks, I made it to Alt -- a pretty kick ass blogger conference for individuals such as myself. I'm officially a day and a half in, and it's simultaneously exhilarating and intimidating as all get out. I'm managing to survive, learn some things, meet some fun people, and have a good time. Some highlights (captured via iPhone) include some photo booth action with Jessica from Me Sew Crazy, an intense set-up for our key note address, some unexplained taxidermy at the Clue-themed party, a session, some party time with my roomie Erin from House of Earnest, a Better Homes and Gardens sponsored dinner with personalized menus (nice touch!), a solo photo booth shot at the Michael Miller fabrics booth, and (a somewhat unexpected surprise) my card cases featured as a gifts for a lucky few at our key note lunch. Whew. And that's just half down and half to go. Biggest fail of the event so far? Remember those maddeningly gorgeous, glittery gold pumps that I procured just for this event and which spawned their very own DIY ? Um, yeah. I completely didn't pack them. So, so sad.
So...how has your week shaped up? Ever been to a conference or professional event where you felt a little intimidated -- but also excited -- by all the potential and opportunities?

If you've ever given one of my tutorials or cocktails a try or you've just been inspired by something you've seen here on Fabric Paper Glue, be sure to share a photo. I'd love to feature it!
