A subtle reminder that, if you're in the DC area, you should grab your ticket now for next Sunday's Drink & DIY event featuring crafts and cocktails by me! The $15 ticket includes some fine locally-grown shopping at Ginger Root Design (which coincidentally offers a nice little selection of Fabric Paper Glue bags and card cases), drinks, 3 DIYs, a Luri & Wilma tote bag, and coupons/goodies from local businesses.
My favorite links this week:
- This week, I spent some serious time with Food & Wine's Christmas Cocktails page. I think I'm in love with the ridiculously esoteric list of ingredients required for nearly every cocktails. This, of course, makes me a terrible, terrible cocktail hipster. But I have no shame.
- I'm loving this exaggerated holly garland by The House that Lars Built for Hellobee. It just warms my heart more than you can know.
- Charming DIY coasters from Design Love Fest.
- I'm going to Alt Summit in January. Have I mentioned that? Anyway, I should get this post by Erin Loechner about making friends at Alt like tattooed on my forearm. I don't know if you know this about me, but I'm actually stupidly easily intimidated. True story.
Fabric Paper Glue haps this week:
- 20% off everything in my Etsy shop with code XMAS20OFF
- A seductive little round-up of storage in the continuation of my dream workspace planning
- How about a tutorial for a modern conceptual Christmas tree?
- ...or one for a gilded ceramic giraffe?
- And, as always, a nice little fabric + font combo
find me elsewhere
If you've ever given one of my tutorials or cocktails a try or you've just been inspired by something you've seen here on Fabric Paper Glue, be sure to share a photo. I'd love to feature it!
