Try This: Prickled Heart Planter Trio
I love plants. They just make a home feel alive. Unfortunately, about the only thing that I can keep alive are succulents. So this, my friends, is a simple little succulent project.
Materials: 3 Mini Wooden Planting Pots, Acrylic Paint (any color you choose, of course), Paint Brush(es), Heart Template
I picked up my mini wooden planting pots from the craft store. I created my heart template by doing a quick Google image search for "heart outline." Earth-shattering technique, I know.
Directions: Trace the heart template onto the front of each of the pots with a pencil.
On one, paint the inside of the heart and the lip of the pot. On the other two, switch it out if you want, and paint everything but the heart and the lip.
Line 'em up. Admire them. Utter the requisite 'Awww,' because they're freakin' adorable. Now fill 'em with some succulents and go about your business. Easy, right?
If you do give this tutorial a try, please be sure and share a picture through the "Share Your Projects" link at the top of the blog page. I'd love to feature some!

so cute! normally, the cat eats all the plants but i think succulents will be an excellent idea.
