Despite the messages I may be sending with my Tipsy Tuesday posts, Michael and I do not exclusively drink original concoctions. In fact, I only occasionally drink a cocktail at home, and when Michael does, it's almost always a classic. So, every now and then, I thought it might be nice to share one of these classic recipes with you.
On our first foray into classics, we chose one that's perfect for summer -- the Silver Fizz. The key to gin fizzes is to shake them longer than seems necessary and drink them quickly. If you're a first-timer, don't let the egg white freak you out. It creates this delicious, frothy foam on top - sort of like a meringue, which doesn't sound scary at all, now does it?
