New Series: Fabric Paper Glue v2012.1

I've decided to start a new series if for no other reason than to have an excuse to check in (you know, share my wit and whatnot) even when I don't have any of my own projects to share.  Plus, it's a way to cull some of my many, many pins (1,500+ now) on Pinterest in some sort of punctuated, thematic way.  Anyway,  I don't promise anything weekly, but here goes:
FPG 12.1

Fabric Paper Glue v2012.1: GOLD

Fabric: Oh my, do I love this space.  There's gold velvet.  There's tufting.  There's intellectual art.  There's a bar cart, for cryin' out loud!  I love myself an eclectic space, and this one does not disappoint.

Paper:  Now I know these have made their rounds on the interwebs, but I just can't get over them.  These beautiful Penguin hardback classic F. Scott Fitzgerald covers are designed by Coralie Bickford-Smith.  I own a Kindle, have no particular affinity for F. Scott Fitzgerald (who I have admittedly never read but probably should), and have no space for these, but man, oh, man, I wish someone I knew would pick some of them up just so that I could, I don't know, caress them or something.
(designs by Coralie Bickford-Smith)

Glue:  We've all seen those brooch bouquets and secretly wanted one, no?  But if you're not in a very specific stage of your life, there's really no occasion to procure or use one.  These DIY brooch napkin rings (epoxy glue necessary -- see the tie-in there, huh, huh?) might just satiate that desire.
